Ms. Idstein has over 20 years of experience in the human resources field with a focus on education, employee laws and compliance, payroll and employee benefits, and onboarding processes. In her current position as Director of Human Resources at LJP Construction Services, she oversees all aspects of the human resources operations including employee development and relations, as well as ensuring corporate compliance with all laws and regulations, implementing confidential and secure recordkeeping, and serving on the senior management team.
Prior to joining LJP, Ms. Idstein served as Corporate Human Resources Manager for a large investment and property management firm in the Irvine, CA area as well as handling operations and human resources for an entertainment company. She has also been part of a team providing training and education to high school level students and was a preschool teacher in the Orange County area. Her experience includes strategic planning, developing and implement training manuals and materials, handling recruiting, on-boarding, termination, and payroll processing.
Her focused approach to providing team-building strategies, diversity and relationship-building tools, and effective procedural systems has been key in developing strategies for employee growth, and the benefits and services available to our teams. She was an integral part of the team involved in the design of our internal training programs and developmental exercises.
Ms. Idstein attended California State University Fullerton and received her bachelor’s degree in Human Services and completed her Master’s in Education with a focus on training.
